Alexandru Borza Botanic Garden

Officially the Alexandru Borza Cluj-Napoca University Botanic Garden, this little slice of verdant tranquility covers 14hectares and is arguably one of the finest in this corner of the planet. The serenity of it all is the main attraction, but we’re quite partial to the heightened sense of occasion that the Japanese Garden provides. Flora enthusiasts will be in dreamland, while those in search of a peaceful stroll will find no better location. There is also a statue of Alexandru Borza (the park’s founder) inside.
