Inside Piata Dorobanti (Dorobanti Market) you will find Raionul de Peste, which translates as Fish Counter. And that's exactly what this place is: a fish counter serving fresh fish which someone will cook for you on the spot. You can then sit and eat it at the bar. It's a brilliant, simple concept widely found in other capital cities but a new one for Bucharest: no wonder the place has been a seriously big hit since opening. There's wine by the glass if you fancy a drink and prices are good. Closes at 21:45 (with the market) so get there early.
