Unmistakably, almost clinically Scandinavian in design this place occupies a historic house where, it is alleged, Romania's King Carol II lost high-stakes poker games in the 1920s and 1930s. His mistress apparently lived next door. These days the stakes are equally high but this time in terms of quality of beer: there are always at least 20 amazing craft beers on tap, including a couple of terrific stouts. Prices can be a little high for the more exotic brews, but the well-paid crowd that comes here - doesn't seem to mind and besides, there are always cheaper options to choose from. Good range of bar food: burgers, sausages, that kind of thing. Something for everyone.
