The Burger Van was originally just that: a van which pitched up outside Bucharest's top nightlife venues and served gourmet burgers to the partying masses. It has now morphed into a non-perambulating bistro fulfilling much the same function: dishing up top burgers - and much more, like steaks and ribs - to the discerning classes. Tucked away on a quiet street close to Cismigiu Park it takes a little finding, but the food is well worth it. The fries are fantastic.
