Wyndham Wroclaw Old Town

Formerly the Sofitel, Wyndham has upgraded this modern city-centre hotel to five stars, and it features all the corresponding amenities, including a fitness room, spa and particularly excellent and expansive conference and business facilities. The location is in one of the buzziest parts of town - arguably too buzzed for some visitors on weekends, when the many clubs and bars across the street overflow outdoors. Rather than a restored historical building, the Wyndham/Wratislavia Centre was built from scratch in the late '90s and is modern through and through, with a soaring glass atrium and an underground parking garage, while nicely complementing the surrounding architecture. The rooms are spacious and smartly furnished, but the views aren't special. Overall, a great option for business and leisure, but lacking in that 'wow' factor.
