Following a fantastic renovation, the interiors have been redone in subtle Dutch style and the Wodnik oozes elegance. The pluses? This place features upmarket rooms, a fabulous restaurant, quiet, riverside location and meets a rather high standard for its price class. The minuses? That riverside location is in a bit of an industrial area (that's Wrocław's water treatment plant across the road) 3km from the market square, and it isn't that easy to get to if you don't have a car. On the other hand, you can walk to Hydropolis, the Zoo and Centennial Hall (from which you can always catch a tram to the Old Town). Overall, a good value. 'Wodnik,' by the way, is Polish for the zodiac sign Aquarius.
