Museum of Architecture

The only museum in Poland devoted entirely to architecture, Wrocław's Museum of Architecture organizes regular exhibitions, meetings and workshops, and also publishes books.

The charming monastery setting of the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław.
Located inside a gorgeous 15th-century monastery, this museum is dedicated entirely to the history of architecture as well as contemporary architecture. There are permanent displays with decorative details from the built environment that were lost during WWII, beautiful examples of stained glass from the 12th century to the Art Nouveau era, a collection of tiled ceramic stoves, intricate door handles, and a selection of truly ghastly gargoyles. Keeps your eyes peeled for occasional temporary exhibits on architecture, applied art, painting and graphics as well.

I visited this museum located in the heart of Wroclaw and I find it an impressive museum with exhibitions of Polish pieces of architecture and numerous examples of artistic mastery of Polish artisans and workers in the Middle Ages. It represents numerous pieces of artwork from the era of the Middle Ages and one can admire the masterpieces of Gothic and Renaissance art.
