Central, and living up to its name, but the dorms and rooms at this bargain hostel are not quite as big as some of the other hostels in the city. The place has real charm, however, provided not in the least by the huge windows that light up every space, and by the idiosyncratic interior design: no colour is forgotten. Good showers, a top kitchen, and usually a good crowd of travellers to meet and mingle with (and as the place sleeps 90-odd there are always plenty of people around). The private rooms are great value.
