Good afternoon, I am a member of the Rotary Club in Duarte, California, United States, a suburb of Los Angeles. There are 3 of our members coming to volunteer to teach conversational English to Polish students and Ukrainian refugee students for two weeks. We will arrive this Saturday and will be teaching the students for two weeks near Siedlce at Reymontowka. We would love to visit your club and talk with you. We can get ourselves to Warsaw as we have dear friends that live in Warsaw. Our club is a little bit unique as we were the first club in the world to allow women, and Rotary International kicked us out of the Rotary International system because we allowed women. It took 10 years going through the courts in the United States but finally our little club prevailed and the United States Supreme Court ruled in our favor in 1987. So after that Rotary International in Illinois changed the charter so that all clubs allowed women into the clubs. One of the first women in Rotary will be traveling with us - her name is Donna Goergino. Please let us know if we could come and visit your club for a meeting. Thank you very much. Hi my name is Roger Green and I am a member of Rotherham Sitwell Rotary in England . In the name of Rotary I am opening a just giving page on Face Book asking for funds to help the Refugees and the carers who are giving them shelter on Poland.
