Right on the corner of the Rynek this Spanish spot has long been popular with a cashed up local crowd. Service is stone faced but everything else wins gold stars; from a warm interior littered with wrought iron and Hispanic paintings to the specialty gambas al a jilo. The kitchen is right at the entrance, allowing diners the opportunity to hear their food sizzle and chefs clattering around cursing less competent colleagues. Always a good night, and sometimes excellent.

was there thurs evening. service, standard and basically friendly. greek salad poor. a nine year old could have done it. olves unpitted, so had to embarrass myself discharging the stones from my mouth. chicken livers in sherry covered in hastily chopped tomatoes. no sherry flavour. one little ciabatta between us. manager needs to look at this rather than stuffing his face every five minutes, or so it seems
