Even though this is 40km from Poznan we’ve always made a point of listing it simply because this is a place with a wonderful history and heritage. Unfortunately a catastrophic fire gutted the main building in February 2011, temporarily robbing the complex of its centrepiece. Thankfully the palace was completely rebuilt in its original form and has 43 4-star rooms to choose from. There are also 18 rustic rooms in the farmstead and gardener's accommodation if you prefer a more authentic experience. Rooms are furnished in individual style, offering a good balance of antiques and modern gadgets along with a swimming pool, billiard room, kid's corner and horse-drawn carts available for guests.
