This bistro, bar and brunch spot comfortably slides between guises while maintaining a warm, welcoming neighbourhood vibe. Located on a Flatiron-esque corner, with a unique split-level interior and modern design, by day it's a cosy cafe for a coffee and croissant, one of their weekday lunch specials, or choose from their extensive breakfast menu - including three types of shaksuka and traditional English brekkie - served all day. In the evenings (Thu-Sun) the kitchen trims down to tasty tapas and a diverse crowd of international students and transplants trickles in to clink wine glasses or pull local craft beers from the fridge, bolstered by frequent events ranging from language meetings to quiz nights to jazz and blues concerts in the big back room.
