Easily the nicest Italian restaurant in town, they go out of their way to make sure their food is top notch and painstakingly authentic. Serving up a huge selection of pastas with actual Italian names (Spaghetti alla bolognese, Tagliatelle con funghi etc.) many of the ingredients are imported from the Big Boot itself and the produce is sourced locally. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg (lettuce). They also offer a full pizza menu (almost 40!) which actually presents a problem as the list of viable options starts to stack up. As you keep flipping through the menu there are about 20 other meat and fish main dishes plus a crepe menu, soup and salad menu, appetiser menu, dessert menu and a more than formidable wine list. The most amazing thing about this monstrous menu is that there doesn’t appear to be any filler or fluff and every dish we saw whisked to eager diners looked equally appetising. Good luck and good eats!
