A brand new hotel in the Oliwa district which opened its doors in the autumn of 2017. For a start everything is brand spanking new and the large rooms are well equipped with all you could expect from a hotel carrying the Hilton name. While the location isn't the old town in Gdańsk, that actually is something in its favour as this is a great base to visit Sopot and Gdańsk, both of which can be reached quickly thanks to the local commuter train which stops 5 minutes walk away at Gdańsk-Oliwa station. The local area has a lot to offer too with the famous cathedral a 5-minute walk away; the zoo 10 minutes by bus and a smattering of pretty good restaurants and cafes too meaning you won't need to travel to one of the aforementioned city centres to eat and drink. Of particular note is the hotel's proximity to the rapidly developing new business district on the Oliwa/Wrzeszcz border (Olivia Business Centre and Alchemia) so if your visit is business related, this is really your best tip.
