Wackier places you won’t come accross in Bydgoszcz, though that's on the proviso you can find it in the first place. A mecca for lovers of Polish yass - a unique mix of jazz, punk rock, folk and improvised music which originated in 1980's Tri-City and (yes!) Bygdoszcz - In action since 1994, this has been a favourite of Pomeranian beatniks for many years. Here you’ll find the local thesps and artists being fed a steady diet of concerts, exhibitions, experimental performances and alcohol in a battered interior consisting of exposed pipes, portraits of poets, and leaning lampshades.
