more than a year ago
The perennially popular Belfast Christmas Market returns to the city this festive season from Sat 18 Nov - 22 Dec 2023 adding stalls packed with cheer, beer, food and gifts. Over a million people are once again expected through the gates of City Hall to share in this yuletide extravaganza of international gastronomic treats.

A huge variety of authentic continental goodies will be available to munch on foot or at one of the seating areas including French crepes, Dutch pancakes, Belgian chocolates, and an exotic selection of ostrich, wild boar and crocodile burgers. Giant bratwurst from the iconic Schwenkgrille, Spanish paella, and nougat from Italy add to the global gourmet vibe.

And if Christmas shopping has you feeling all thirsty, head to one of the bars serving drinks from across the continent until late into the evening.

Children will also be delighted as Santa takes up residence in the Grotto, with all proceeds in support of the Children’s Cancer Unit. The bright lights of the carousel, vintage helter skelter and specially designed fairy trail continues that special seasonal family sparkle.

Open Mon-Sat from 10:00 and 12:00 on Sun, the environmentally friendly market is bustling from the moment the gates swing back until the close of business each day.So get there early to fully enjoy all the stalls inside and along the front gates of City Hall.
