Immerse yourself in the world of Westeros on these specialist tours covering the award-winning series' iconic Northern Irish filming locations. From old growth forests to wild sea cliffs, craggy beaches to crumbling medieval ruins, no stone is left unturned in these epic experiences. Four daily tours depart from Belfast, Derry and Dublin, with a fifth joining the Winterfell coach tour for a two mile trek through Tollymore Forest Park.
Belfast tours head north for an Iron Islands, Giant's Causeway & Rope Bridge Adventure incorporating several legendary north Antrim coastal locations and stopping for lunch at The Fullerton Arms. Carrickfergus Castle, the Wall at Magheramorne Quarry, the Caves where Melisandre gave birth to a dark spirit and the Dark Hedges aka The King's Road are also en route.
And heading south from the city, the Winterfell Locations Trek takes you down the beautiful Ards Penisula for the short ferry crossing from Portaferry to Strangford and on to Castle Ward Estate - home of nine GoT's Winterfell locations. Lunch is at The Cuan pub, Strangford (or you can bring your own packed lunch or buy a sandwich) before an afternoon stop at 12th Century Inch Abbey followed by a trek round Tollymore Forest Park, scene of yet more location filming. The coach returns to Belfast via the stunning Mourne Mountains.
The Derry tour takes in Downhill beach and Dunluce Castle before visiting the same north coast locations as its Belfast counterpart including lunch at The Fullerton Arms. And the Dublin tour follows the Winterfell Tour itinerary with lunch stop at The Lobster Pot, Strangford.
All tours include walks, so wear appropriate clothing and footwear. You can also kit yourself out with freely available Stark and Iron Born cloaks, swords, shields and banners for those authentic Instagram moments.
