Belfast's city centre retail experience received a major shot of glamour in 2008 with the opening of this shiny shopping centre. The landmark building spans a substantial strip of Chichester Street, has several pedestrian access points and boasts a House of Fraser signature store and big glass dome with viewing gallery. Over 50 more shops - including Apple, Urban Outfitters, Ted Baker and Build-A-Bear - an 8-screen Odeon cinema, restaurants, cafes, bars, salon and basement parking complete your wallet-emptying expedition.

I find the shops in Victoria Square over priced and totally useless, I have never eaten in it or bought a thing from it. Went into a couple of shops looking for a birthday present for a family member and got lost in Hollister (The clothes are over priced poorly sized and not of great quality and it's so dark inside the shop that you can't see the products properly even the staff cant read the prices in the perfume boxes!). Got lost in House of Frazer spent 20 mins trying to get out!The only use that Victoria Square has is toilets.
