Born in 1962, this enduring local legend has served many a punter with some of the finest fish and chips in town. Fresh catches of cod, whiting and scampi arrive daily from the Co. Down village of Portavogie and are cooked on site. And traditional homemade pasties, belly busting burgers and large fries (Ulster, not French) keep the hungry hordes coming back for more. Slip into church pew booths and admire the gallery of Belfast photos as you feast like a Shankill native (no city centre prices here). Authentic, unpretentious and great value.
