A welcome relief from the seemingly never-ending roll call of identikit hotels in the city, the good people at Tomče Sofka put personal preference before predictability when designing the rooms, sometimes with the most interesting and eccentric outcomes. On the edge of City Park in a relatively quiet location, this is one of the friendliest places we’ve come across and it also has the advantage of a great in-house Macedonian restaurant.
