This large and by all accounts frenetic bar on two floors in the Old Bazaar functions as an ordinary café-restaurant during the day, although it’s during the evenings that the place really comes into itself. Popular with students and featuring a large open terrace at the back during the warmer part of the year, Austrian Palace’s décor is the work of two young Albanian designers and is a fun place to eat, get pickled on cheap cocktails and forget about the world until it comes crashing back in with the hangover in the morning.
