Kring Vrienden van ’s-Hertogenbosch

Kring Vrienden van ’s-Hertogenbosch offers no less than 26 unique guided tours throughout the city, which vary from boat tours to educational and and walking tours of the beautiful inner city. Its professional team of more than 350 volunteers lead visitors past all kinds of historical buildings, museums, gardens, churches, cemeteries, old city quarters and nature reserves. Despite their volunteer status, each guide takes his tasks very seriously. The (often) older guides are locals to a man, who gladly share their love of the city with the hundreds of thousands of visitors that arrive in their Medieval town each year. In addition to their unbridled enthusiasm, they possess a fair amount of insight into human nature, plenty of personal stories and, above all, a fierce desire to share their knowledge of the city with anyone who is keen to hear it. Tours  are mainly in Dutch, but some of the guides are happy to show off their knowledge of other languages.
