Since it opened in 2001, the Sloter Park Swimming Pool has been considered to be one of the best and biggest swimming centres in the Netherlands. It's located at the western edge of the Sloterplas and it also hosts two excellent festivals: Loveland in August and West Beach Film Festival in September. Take tram No.7 or 14 from the city centre to the pool.
