Do yourself a favour and skip the free breakfast at your hotel. The unassuming and aptly named Lunchbreek is a no frills café that puts one in mind of an American diner. Order a big bagel breakfast with the toppings of your choice including our favourite – wasabi cream cheese, lox and iceberg lettuce. You can also try one of its big baguettes, but we recommend the meatball sandwich. Kids can get their food with chocolate and peanut butter toppings, but if you’d like to avoid the little ones then have a seat outside. High tea and ‘high wine’ are also available but you have to reserve them ahead of time.
