[Editor's note: Our all-time favourite kebab takeaway has sadly served its last spindle of succulent, processed meat - our 3am walks home on Saturday mornings will never be as tasty again....]
It makes no claim to be other than what it is a fast food kebab shop providing visitors and locals with a taste of Turkey. But as far as we are concerned, there is nothing wrong with that, especially when the grilled pita bread comes stuffed with salad, sliced meat and spicy sauce. You can choose to eat at the small indoor counter or perch yourself on a stool at one of the half-dozen tables outside and you’ll feel full, content and ready to walk or dance your fast food fix off.

It has been my little tradition to try and eat at AGA KEBABČI at least a few times month. I have been doing so for the past 10 years. But last night I was surprised to find myself bamboozled, or should I say swindled out of my money! I was ordering my usual meal, which consists of a DONER KEBAB and 2 beers. In the end, that amounts to €6 in total. I handed the clerk a €10 bill to which he responded by returning the change. I safely stored it in my wallet, only to later find out the shocking truth. When I tried to pay for another beer at TOVARNA ROG, which is a place most fair, I found in my wallet, 2 coins that appeared to be EURO COINS, but were in fact LIRA COINS. Now you might be wondering what LIRA COINS are. They are old ITALIAN money, used during the WORLD WAR 2, but the fact is that they are still worthless in this day and age. I was shocked. I tried to rationalise the situation by telling myself that AGA KEBABCI would never trick me in such way. But I soon found out that it was only my naiveté. My friend, a very fair person (wouldn't hurt a fly), found LIRA COINS in his wallet, shortly after eating at the very same AGA KEBABCI! In conclusion 3=====D~~AGA KEBABCI~~O=====B
