Actually, I attended a concert/puppet opera in this theater in December, 2009, which was in Lithuanian. That aside, for those who understand even a bit of Russian, the quality of performance in this theater has always been excellent in my experience. I've seen concerts here, the puppet opera, and one dance evening, with all performances to a high level, plus that little quirky, Lithuanian je-ne-sais-quoi added for good measure. For many performances a knowledge of Russian is not necessary. Often the scenery and effects are entertaining enough.
