The club that culture forgot has been entertaining the locals and occasionally burning down since time immemorial. Featuring two bars on two floors, a small stage for a wide range of events and an even smaller minstrels’ gallery, it’s so weird and unlike anything else you’ve ever seen before that you really should give it a try. Put it on your bucket list and keep another one by the side of the bed for when you get home.

A few years back this was the best place in town if all you were after was cheap beer and some unpretentious frolicking on the student-packed dancefloor. These days its struggling to entice the punters in during the week like it once did. Still worth a visit on weekends when things liven up a bit.
