Housed inside a building that once formed part of the city's old defensive wall and dating back to the early 16th century, during its long history the building has been used as an orphanage, a city dump, a public toilet and a place for storing vegetables during the Soviet occupation. Opened as a museum in 1987, there's not much to see inside but it's worth a visit all the same.
