Reassuringly pricey dining in a choice of two elagant rooms at the far southern end of town, this is probably the most romantic place to feast in the village assuming it’s not overflowing with a busload of Germans. The menu offers plenty of good-looking options that aren’t always as good as they sound, but for class the place is certainly a winner. Note that the building is also home to an equally sophisticated guesthouse if you can't be bothered to go home after you've finished eating.
