We've honestly never been big fans of Frida Khalo's work or unibrows in general, but since we're the utmost professionals and always (okay, sometimes) try to remain objective, we decided to give this cute little bistro in Achrafieh a try, and we have to admit that we weren't disappointed. Billed as a Mexican-Lebanese fusion restaurant, the first such we've ever heard of, the bulk of the menu does lean towards the marriage's better half, which is our overly complicated way of saying it's mostly typical Lebanese dishes, some of which are uniquely spiced up with Latin American ingredients, while under the 'Straight from Mexico' section you'll find dishes such as fantastic fajitas and the strange yet tasty combination of shrimps and chorizo. Set in a lovely old Lebanese apartment in Furn el-Hayek, the relaxed, cosy atmosphere perfectly compliments the cuisine.
