Originally opened all the way back in 1945, Freiha is the oldest falafel place in Achrafieh, and nowadays sits directly opposite the main entrance of ABC Mall near Sassine. More than a few people say this is the best falafel in the city, while others seem fairly unimpressed. The truth? Who knows, but we're big fans of Freiha. Fast, cheap and conveniently located, it's the kind of place where the owner will give free falafel to a kid leaving with a takeway order so he can snack on it on the way home. The chicken and beef shawarma are also quite tasty.
