You might feel a bit out of place sitting amongst Latvian heavy metal enthusiasts, 13th-century war re-enactors and the women who love them, but they do all have one thing in common at this retro-pagan bar and that’s a love for local craft brews, which are poured here in abundance. If you don’t mind replicas of Viking-era shields on the blood-red walls and lots of men with braided beards who look like extras from Game of Thrones (think Wildlings), then you’ll no doubt enjoy a beer or three here, while listening to folk-metal music.
