This popular cellar bar in the Jacob’s Barracks offers a full menu of international food and drink during the day, but it’s at night that Shot Café shows its true colours. Packed with a young crowd of arty snowboard types dancing to a variety of alternative and house music, it’s a great place to go for a long night of short drinks for reasonable prices. Try the ābolu pīrāgs or apple pie (a shot of vodka and apple juice topped with cinnamon), a local favourite. You can expect DJs on Fridays and Saturdays.
