Located opposite the Grīziņkalns skatepark and basketball courts, the aptly named Ghetto Burger has a stylish interior that includes plenty of exposed brick, lots of potted plants, jet black tables and chairs and a mural of a hip and happy Jesus chowing down on a big burger. Half a dozen tasty burgers can be had here for around €3, but we recommend you upgrade your sandwich with an extra meat patty for a small fee. The joint is manned by youngsters, so service is hit or miss, but the food is good and a daily special is also available.

At this very moment Ghetto Burger serve the best burgers in town - freshly well-cooked patties with exquisite buns, crisp vegetables and all these are nicely put together so when you eat this delight it doesn't fall apart and leak on your lap. French fries here are worth of respectful mentioning as well: crunchy outside and mellow inside and not oversalted! Highly recommended.
