Named after one of Europe’s tastiest ales, this vast gastropub housed in the famous Cat House on one of Old Riga’s most popular squares specialises, not surprisingly, in a huge selection of Belgian and Dutch beers, served on draught and in bottles, as well as local brews. Everywhere you look you’ll see dark wood reminiscent of a classic grand café, not to mention rows and rows of beer bottles covering every spare shelf and windowsill.
