Solid wood furniture, a cosy atmosphere and assorted Benelux decorations aren't the only things that make this place an authentic Belgian beer bar and restaurant. A whole page of the menu is dedicated to steamed mussels, sausages are ordered by the half metre and tasty brews from the Low Countries are served in their proper glasses - a rarity in Riga. Most of the delicious food and drink isn't cheap, but Europeans have come to expect that anything from Brussels will cost them dearly. Thankfully, its breakfast menu is affordable as well as its weekday lunch special.
