The Beer Manor is perhaps the city centre’s cosiest watering hole even though it more than doubled its size in the summer of 2017. Raised wooden tables, colourful lighting and reed mats used as wallpaper all contribute to a comfy, almost beach bar atmosphere that’s only trumped by its selection of Latvian craft brews on draught, all of which are poured by its owners, two Latvian brothers. Some small snacks such as salted peanuts and crisps are also available as well as a popular kerbside terrace in the summer. Try the Sazobe IPA, one of our favourites, and don't forget that they'll also pour you takeaway beers in plastic bottles.
