St. Joseph’s Catholic Cathedral

The massive yellow brick church next to the market has an interesting history. The expanding 19th-century congregation had outgrown its small building, but had been denied a building permit for a new church so they just added onto the existing one creating the towering structure you now see. The interior is ornately decorated with scenes from the Bible.
