The location just above the beach is sublime and the upmarket, Italian and international fare is excellent, so if you'd like to pretend that you're at a Mediterranean seaside resort instead of Jūrmala, then Il Sole is the place to go. Its delicious Italian dishes are listed in Italian, Latvian, Russian, English and a kids' menu is also available, but if all you crave is a great view and a cold beer, then take a seat on the terrace and order a brew.
