Opening in the formerly abandoned, monstrous and much-maligned Forum Hotel, Forum Przestrzenie immediately vaults itself to the top of the list of Kraków's most original, intriguing and hip locales, without even really trying (not caring is the key to being 'cool' after all). The owners have simply added dozens of beach chairs, bean bags, retro sofas and a bit of graffiti art to the original interiors and vintage neon signs of the reception area, assembled a competent kitchen to create stellar sandwiches, salads and pizzas, stocked the bar with good beer, and watched the talented, tattooed post-college crowd ("hipsters" you might call them) turn this vast riverside cafe/bar/bistro into one of the trendiest places to be day or night. With great views and plenty of space, when it's warm their huge terrace is sprawling with beach chairs, while inside there's enough room for ping-pong tables. With regular events, weekend DJ parties and the Hala Forum food market next door, there's no dispute that Forum is Kraków's top riverside hangout spot.

Krakow
Quiet in the summer? Not even close... While we understand where you''re coming from, and many students do indeed leave town for the summer, in terms of nightlife Krakow is pure mayhem anytime the nights are long and warm. Though some students leave in the summer, many remain, and those that leave are probably overcompensated for by all of the young travellers and tourists here in summer. If you''re looking to party with 20somethings, June-July is a great time to do it.

Hello, Does anyone know if Krakow is fairly quiet end of June early July? My friend and I would like to sight see during the day but party at night. Are all the college students gone?
