Named in honour of noted doctor and philanthropist, Henryk Jordan (1842-1907), this 22 hectare cultivated patch of grass next to the Błonia is a favourite among the locals, especially children. Filled with trees and flowerbeds, and lined with dozens of busts of famous Poles - including a monument of Wojciech the Soldier Bear, when the weather's nice paddle boats poodle around the artificial pond, and kids inside giant inflatable spheres literally walk (or tumble about) on water. With multiple playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts, a couple cafes and more, it's an ideal place for families and squirrels to spend their time. In winter, this is a popular place for sledding as well.
