Since 1997 The puppet theater festival "Materia magica", organized by Klaipėda Puppet Theater, will celebrate the tenth time in May 16-19. Every two years, the organizers of the international festival seek to present the art of puppet theater that goes beyond the boundaries of age and rooted stereotypes, one that combines the traditional expression of this theater with new waves and experimental searches, its interdisciplinary nature - with pure forms.
We have a simple and at the same time extremely challenging task - to break the preconceptions and the stereotypical thinking about the puppet theater, and immerse the audience in a different - live, unexpected, visual and multi-media - puppet theater!
