Level Four is a chic and elegant restaurant experience, with an intimate and plush little bar that leads out onto the rooftop terrace of 54 on Bath Hotel in Rosebank, ideal for a glass of the best with someone special.

Service is polished yet personalised while the menu combines classic cuisine and contemporary influences, together with the restaurant’s bold signature style and distinctive flair. A special bonus is the hotel's rooftop garden, where you can escape from the hustle of the city and relax with your glass. In jacaranda season (mid Oct – early Nov) in Rosebank, this is a fantastic retreat from which to view some of the spectacular blooms. 

The Terrace and Level Four Bar underwent a sparkling makeover in November 2024, which included refreshing the pool and pool deck, the addition of elegant pergolas for hot summer days, and a garden makeover that has created a lush lawn and a pretty outdoor setting. 

With a cocktail menu inspired by the bar's botanical surroundings and a partnership with luxury gin label, Hendrick’s Gin, expect delicious gin cocktails – we can attest to that.

54 on Bath’s Level Four Terrace also offers one of our favourite afternoon and high tea experiences. Enjoy their elegant Traditional Afternoon Tea, from Sunday to Friday from 14:30 to 16:30, which includes premium TWG teas, a guided tea presentation, and an assortment of savoury and sweet treats. From classic freshly baked scones served with cream and preserves to English sandwiches (crustless, of course) the selection is excellent. It's also kind to the wallet, with the tea service priced at R395 per person. You can add a glass of Champagne, or may we recommend a Hendrick’s cucumber and rose-infused gin cocktail.

On Saturdays from 13:30 to 16:00 indulge in High Tea with bubbles and an accompanying pianist. The cost is R595 per person.
