Now South Africa has taken the virtual tourism experience to the next level bringing you live streamed twice-daily safaris straight from the Kruger Park!
Luxury safari company &Beyond, based in Timbavati Private Game Reserve and Sabi Sand Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger area, have joined forces with wildlife broadcasting experts WildEarth TV to host morning and afternoon game drives that they are streaming live on Youtube.
The drives are led by a team of rangers from the Ngala Private Game Reserve and Djuma Private Game Reserve with three vehicles heading out twice a day linked up by a director in a control room who deftly switches the cameras between the three vehicles so there is always something to watch.
During the game drives viewers can send in their questions to ask live via Youtube or on Wild Earth's Twitter feed and the first 45 minutes of every drive is devoted to questions from kids watching the feed.
Completely unscripted, and just like any normal game drive completely unpredictable too, Wild Earth's twice-daily drives cruise through the bush in search of prides of lions, baby hyenas, elusive leopards, herds of elephants and other safari delights from birds to insects, and those magnificent African sunrises and sunsets.
