If you're in need of a break from Netflix, head to The Bioscope at 44 Stanley every second Thursday of the month for the Joburg French Cine Club. Bringing you the best in French cinema in collaboration with Alliance Française, their offerings include everything from the classics to contemporary films. Each screening also features a short film, courtesy of Agence Française de Dévelopement from the Creative Africa Project. It's a great way to diversify what you're watching, and a wonderful mid-week adventure.
Ticket prices start at R100 and include a complimentary glass of wine – so make sure you get there early!
