One of Ireland's oldest wine bars, this denizen of all things vinous dates back to 1829 and has lain untouched since the 1980s. Now duo Giovanni Viscardi and Brian Deery have breathed new life back into this historic space to make it one of the city's most atmospheric night spots. The 300-year-old wine cellars have been enhanced with more than thirty Old World wines - available by both the glass or bottle. So choose your tipple and enjoy convivial company amid the restored original walls and archways. This successful fusion of classical and modern styles has created a bar as atmospheric as it is intimite. All this and the food is just as fabulous (see Restaurants).
