Mývatn Nature Baths

Myvatn, also known as the Northern Lights capital of Iceland, hosts the Myvatn Nature Baths - a human-made Lagoon that consists of 3.5 million litres of hot geothermal water with healing properties. The water in the area has a higher sulfur content, compared to other geothermal hotpots, so you better remove your jewelry upon entering. Higher sulfur content is known to relieve several health conditions, such as asthma, skin issues, and bacterial growth.
