This is Hungary’s contemporary folk, gypsy, jazz and world music Mecca and, like Mecca, you have to make a worthwhile pilgrimage to find it (30 minutes by tram). Between performances given by a consistent and varied selection of skilled musicians from all over Eastern Europe (and beyond) you can have a drink in the bar or rush to the onsite CD shop having fallen in love with the last act. Take tram Nº4 to its southern terminus and continue four stops south on tram Nº41 or 47.
