Send in the clowns? Don't bother, they're here. This clown-themed café is so idiosyncratic, with its bamboo chairs and intricate decor, that it could only have been the product of someone's very personal vision. Well, it works for us. The building is itself a converted 13th century bakery and the fare today includes salads, sandwiches, crepes and drinks. They must be doing something right, as they have been featured in the Michelin Red Guide since 2005 and were awarded 2 hats by Gault Millau in 2011.
