There’s nothing the owners can do about the dodgy surroundings. So they made up for it by doing a pretty good job of brightening the interior. Salero started off as a Spanish delicacies restaurant and has now evolved into what we would call a Mediterranean treat. Tapas are always up for grabs, but don’t ask for the bill before you’ve tried the spinach pie or the Catalane crème.
